Part L The Department of Housing and Local Government is brining into effect New Building Regulations from November 1st 2019.
The New Building Regulations stipulate that any alterations affecting a minimum of 25% of your home's surface area, the dwelling must achieve a minimum BER rating of a B2 or your heating system and attic insulation comply with the new Building Regulations standards.
In order to avail of the SEAi grant for either external insulation or internal insulation and work begins after November 1st 2019, you must comply with the new Building Regulations.

Under SEAI's Better Energy Homes Scheme a grant of €6000 is available to insulate your external walls and a further €50 towards a BER. As registered SEAI contractors we can apply for these grants on your behalf. For more information visit our grants page.
